I am a freelance photographer with a special interest in news, portraiture, and sports photojournalism. I am originally from Ottawa and currently work out of the Ottawa and Southern California area. 

 

My interest in photography lies mainly as a tool to tell stories. My academic and professional background is in historical research and writing. I strive to bring my learned skills into the field of photojournalism to tell stories both current and historical in an impactful and easily accessible manner.

When not taking pictures you can find me on a bike, working on a bike, or somewhere outside probably still taking pictures.
